DISCOVER SAN JOSÉ

Upon arrival in San José, meet and greet service and transfer from the airport to the hotel. Overnight stay in San José. (Room assignment is subject to the hotel’s check-in schedule and availability.)

At the scheduled time, departure for a half-day city tour of San José. The tour takes place aboard the VIP City Bus, a double-decker sightseeing bus that offers an entertaining, cultural, and informative way to discover Costa Rica’s capital from a panoramic perspective. During the tour, guests will visit the main historical and cultural landmarks of San José, combining bus rides with guided walking tours through the city’s most representative attractions. • “FULL-DAY ARENAL VOLCANO AND HOT SPRINGS” (12 HOURS) (Lunch and Dinner included) The impressive Arenal Volcano is a natural wonder located in La Fortuna de San Carlos, Alajuela, offering thousands of tourists the opportunity to observe columns of white smoke, ash, and fumarolic activity coming from this cone-shaped colossus. It is important to note that this activity has decreased in recent years. After lunch, we will head to relax in one of the best hot springs in the area, where you can enjoy the cleansing and rejuvenating effects of the thermal waters. The hot springs combine the four elements of nature: the heat of the volcano, the waters flowing from hot springs, the pure air of the rainforest, and the fertile land of the La Fortuna de San Carlos region. To end the day, before returning to San José, we will enjoy a wonderful dinner at the hot springs site at the foot of the volcano, so you won’t miss the opportunity to see the volcano in a magnificent setting.
• “FULL-DAY EXCURSION TO THE REVENTAZÓN RIVER RAPIDS, CLASS III” (11 HOURS) (Breakfast and Lunch included) THIS TOUR DOES NOT ACCEPT CHILDREN UNDER 12 YEARS OLD. Florida to San Alberto (10 miles) is the new location where these rapids take place, offering beginners the chance to enjoy this unique and wet experience. Departure from San José will be very early, crossing the impressive Braulio Carrillo National Park. After a safety briefing at our private starting point, we will begin navigating these rapids. These will be the fastest 10 miles you have ever experienced. Big waves, hydraulics, wildlife, and primary rainforest mountain walls, along with a delicious lunch, will make this an unforgettable adventure.
• “FULL-DAY EXCURSION TO TORTUGA ISLAND” (Breakfast and Lunch included) Travel aboard the catamaran “Bay Princess” to Tortuga Island, considered one of Costa Rica’s great experiences. Experience blue waters, white sand, green mountains, fine cuisine, and attentive service from the Bay Island Cruises staff. The super Bay Princess glides smoothly through more than seven islands in the Gulf of Nicoya. Your destination is the charming Tortuga Island, filled with palm trees, where you can walk on pristine white sand, swim in turquoise waters, and explore marine life while the crew prepares a delicious lunch. The rest of the afternoon can be spent enjoying various activities such as swimming, sunbathing, snorkeling, and more.
