OPTIONAL EXCURSION: FULL DAY LONDON – WINDSOR CASTLE & LONDON FOR INSTAGRAM

We will discover the famous Windsor Castle, one of the oldest castles in the world and the current residence of the King of England. The visit will be with audio guides, allowing us to explore St George’s Chapel and other attractions inside, where we will find works of art and luxurious objects from the British royal collections.

Next, we will explore on foot and by coach some of the most iconic and photogenic places in the city, while a local guide explains their history: we will pass by St Paul’s Cathedral, where Princess Diana married Prince Charles. Then, we will see the iconic Tower Bridge, one of the most famous landmarks in England. We will stop to admire the Tower of London, a medieval castle listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will enter Covent Garden, a lively district known for its famous market, and finish at Piccadilly Circus, the heart of London.

Note: If the visit to Windsor Castle falls on a Tuesday or Wednesday, the castle will be closed and will be replaced by the Tower of London.

Breakfast and departure to the port of Port of Dover to board the ferry. This international crossing requires time to complete the corresponding immigration procedures, so it is important to depart early. After a 75-minute crossing, we will arrive at the port of Port of Calais, from where we will continue to Paris. Arrival in Paris and accommodation.


OPTIONAL EXCURSION: PARIS BY NIGHT WITH LATIN QUARTER

We will begin with a guided visit through the famous Latin Quarter, where you will explore this vibrant district known for its narrow streets and bohemian atmosphere, full of history, culture, and nightlife. Here you will find iconic landmarks such as the Panthéon and Sorbonne University, surrounded by cafés, bookstores, and shops, while enjoying the rich history and architecture that define this beloved area of Paris.

Then, we will discover the magic of illuminated Paris on a nighttime coach tour, where you will admire the city’s most emblematic monuments. Along the way, you will see iconic landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Palais Garnier, Les Invalides, and Hôtel de Ville, among others, while our local guide shares stories and interesting facts about the city.

OPTIONAL EXCURSION: VERSAILLES & SEINE RIVER CRUISE

Embark on an excursion to Palace of Versailles, the iconic palace built by Louis XIV. This majestic residence stands out not only for its dazzling architecture and vast gardens but also as a fundamental symbol of French history. As you stroll through its splendid halls and beautifully designed landscapes, you will immerse yourself in the luxury and culture that defined the royal court.

After exploring Versailles, you will enjoy a charming cruise along the Seine River, where you will have the opportunity to admire the city from a new perspective. It is one of the richest and safest countries in Europe, where it is sometimes possible to spot the Grand Duke walking through the streets. Public transportation is free, and its pedestrian streets, Place de la Constitution, Notre-Dame Cathedral of Luxembourg, and the Grand Ducal Palace are a delight for strolling, shopping, and dining. In addition, the rocky cliff on which the city was founded in 963 offers one of the best panoramic viewpoints in Europe.

OPTIONAL EXCURSION: HEIDELBERG CASTLE

This German city was partially destroyed by the army of Louis XIV in the 1600s. However, it was rebuilt while preserving its traditional German architecture. Its impressive Heidelberg Castle is a symbol of 19th-century Romanticism. We will walk through the Market Square Heidelberg, a lively area filled with restaurants and terraces. We will also explore the Old Town and enter the Church of the Holy Spirit.

One of the most famous mountains in the Swiss Alps is Mount Titlis. The views are breathtaking from the cable car, from which you can admire the glacier and Lake Lucerne. At around 3,000 meters above sea level, its summit is still easily accessible, where you will find several restaurants and one of the highest suspension bridges in Europe.

DAY 11 • INNSBRUCK – PADUA – VENICE

OPTIONAL EXCURSION: INNSBRUCK WALKING TOUR

We will head up to a typical Austrian village and reach the Bergisel Ski Jump. We will admire the traditional Alpine architecture and visit the Wilten Basilica, considered one of the most beautiful in the country. We will walk through the historic center, where we will see the St. Anne's Column. Innsbruck was one of the imperial cities of the Habsburgs, and its founder, Maximilian I, left as a legacy one of the city’s most iconic landmarks: the Golden Roof.

Breakfast. We will be amazed by Venice, the city of 118 islands and more than 400 bridges, whose unique characteristics make it a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will visit the Bridge of Sighs and St. Mark’s Square, with its incomparable setting highlighted by St. Mark’s Basilica, a true architectural gem. Free time. We will admire the beautiful marble façade of the Florence Cathedral (Santa Maria del Fiore) and its unmistakable Giotto's Campanile. Embark on an exciting excursion to the historic city of Toledo, the former capital of Spain and a true melting pot of cultures. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Toledo is one of the best-preserved cities in the country. During our visit, we will discover the fascinating art of damascening and admire the famous swords and armors of the region. Entrance to the Toledo Cathedral is included, where you can admire its impressive treasures, followed by a guided city tour.

Upon returning to Madrid, we will enjoy a panoramic tour showcasing iconic landmarks such as Atocha Railway Station, Paseo del Prado, Plaza de Cibeles, Puerta de Alcalá, Gran Vía, and Plaza de España.
