At the scheduled time, we will begin with a panoramic tour along the Bay of Cartagena, considered one of the safest in the South American Southern Cone. We will then ascend La Popa Hill to visit the Convent of La Candelaria, from where one of the best views of the city can be enjoyed. We will continue to the San Felipe de Barajas Fortress, one of the greatest works of colonial architecture, and later we will stop at the Las Bóvedas barracks, an ideal place to purchase handicrafts. To conclude, we will enjoy a walking tour through the historic center, exploring its squares and streets while admiring its iconic colonial buildings. Accommodation.

At the scheduled time, we will begin this full-day experience departing from La Bodeguita Pier, where you will board a shared speedboat bound for the Corales del Rosario National Natural Park. During the journey through Cartagena Bay, you will be able to appreciate its waters, its port activity, and the contrast between the modern city and the historic walls that surround it. Upon arrival at the exclusive San Pedro de Majagua Hotel, you will be welcomed with a non-alcoholic welcome cocktail and a refreshing towel. You will have free time to enjoy the crystal-clear sea, relax in a unique natural setting, and take advantage of the hotel’s facilities. The experience includes a traditional lunch on the island, perfect for complementing the day with flavors of the Colombian Caribbean. In the afternoon, around 4:30 p.m., we will depart by boat back to Cartagena Bay.

Note: If you wish to visit the San Martín de Pajarales Aquarium, the hotel boats have scheduled departures and returns so you can visit it; this is optional and payment is made directly at the destination.

HOTELS

  • The hotels mentioned are for reference only and are the most commonly used in this type of tour. However, when confirming services, please note that the assigned hotels may be different but of the same category.
  • Double rooms: A room with one double bed will be confirmed. If you prefer two single beds, you must request this in advance, as it is subject to hotel availability and may result in price variations.
  • Triple rooms: An additional rollaway bed will be provided along with a double bed. The availability of the rollaway bed is subject to hotel confirmation at the time of booking. If you prefer three single beds, please note that this request is subject to hotel policies and may involve changes in room category and price.
  • Amenities such as cribs or bed types (Twin, King, Queen) are subject to availability at the hotel at the time of booking.
  • Check-in is from 3:30 PM, and check-out must be completed before 12:00 PM.

ITINERARY

  • Transfers operate between 5:00 AM and 9:59 PM. Outside of these hours, an additional fee will apply. If additional nights are required, transfers are not included in the package and may be arranged at an additional cost.
  • The transportation service allows one checked bag of up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and one carry-on bag of up to 8 kg (17 lbs) per person. In case of excess luggage, inclusion will be assessed and may be accepted at no additional cost, subject to vehicle capacity.
  • We recommend not leaving valuables in the vehicle. The operator is not responsible for any loss, damage, or theft of valuable items.
  • The itinerary is subject to changes due to weather conditions, road conditions, operational issues, availability, or unforeseen events at the time of booking.
  • The order of activities may vary; however, the content and included services will remain the same.
  • Regular or shared services: Some services are provided on a shared basis with other passengers. Transportation, guided tours, and excursions are conducted in groups; therefore, schedules and routes may be adjusted for proper coordination of the service.
  • Travel documents: Once full payment has been confirmed, final travel documents will be sent approximately 6 days prior to the departure date.

TOURS AND EXCURSIONS

  • The local guide or operator may adjust the order of visits due to logistical, operational, or weather-related reasons, while always respecting the contracted services.
  • If any activity cannot be carried out due to force majeure, a refund will be processed only for the service not provided, when applicable.
  • We are not responsible for tourism services independently contracted by the passenger with external providers.

CHILD POLICY

  • Infants (under 1.99 years): Only pay airport taxes. The exact amount will be confirmed at the time of ticket issuance. However, if the infant requires a special seat or any equipment for transportation, please inform us at the time of booking to ensure proper arrangements.
  • Children (2 to 10 years): Pay the child fare.
  • Children (11 years and older): Pay the adult fare.
  • Room occupancy: The maximum number of children sharing a room with parents is subject to each hotel’s policies.
  • Documentation: All minors must be accompanied by one parent or legal guardian. At check-in, they must present an ID card, valid passport, or birth registration document.

VISAS AND DOCUMENTATION

  • It is essential to have a valid passport with at least 6 months of validity at the time of travel. To confirm the reservation, a copy of the passport must be sent; if you do not yet have one, you may send a copy of an official identification document where the passenger’s name is correctly shown.
  • It is the passenger’s responsibility to verify, according to their nationality and country of residence, whether a visa or other travel documents are required to enter the destination countries, and to ensure all documentation is valid at the time of travel.

PAYMENTS AND DEPOSITS

  • Payments made to confirm a reservation are non-refundable, unless otherwise specified in writing by the service provider.
  • Service confirmation is subject to timely payment according to the dates stated in the quotation.
  • The initial deposit must be 10% of the total package price plus the full cost of the airline ticket.
  • 45 days before the departure date, 100% of the total package must be paid.
