Welcome to Turkey, a country with a unique history and culture, where you will experience an extraordinary vacation. A new world of experiences awaits you, where the blend of East and West converges into one nation. Upon arrival at the spectacular Istanbul Airport (IST), inaugurated in April 2019 and now the largest in Europe and one of the largest in the world, after disembarking, passing through immigration, and collecting your luggage, please proceed to our meeting point (as indicated in your voucher) where our team will greet you. You will then meet our drivers and modern vehicles for your transfer to the hotel. Check-in and accommodation. Free time to relax. Overnight stay.

DAY 2 • ISTANBUL

At the scheduled time, your Golden Horn and Bosphorus Pearl Tour will begin. The adventure starts in the historic Jewish neighborhood of Balat and the charming Greek district of Fener, where you can admire the beauty of the Golden Horn. Next, you will visit the impressive St. George’s Cathedral, an important center of the Greek Orthodox Church, and the magnificent Süleymaniye Mosque, designed by the famous architect Mimar Sinan, known for its imposing dome. Afterward, immerse yourself in the vibrant colors and aromas of the Spice Bazaar, the perfect place to shop for teas, herbs, and traditional sweets. The experience will culminate with a relaxing Bosphorus boat cruise, where you will enjoy spectacular views of fortresses and palaces that adorn this magical strait separating Europe and Asia. During the tour, you will have the opportunity to enjoy lunch at a traditional restaurant (included). At the end of the excursion, you will be transferred back to your hotel to rest.

Today you will have a free day, but you also have the option to join the “Jewels of Constantinople” excursion, which includes lunch at a traditional restaurant. The tour begins with an exploration of the historic city center, where you will see remnants of the various empires that have shaped Istanbul. You will start at the Roman Hippodrome, the social center of Constantinople, where you can admire the Obelisk of Theodosius, the Obelisk of Constantine, and the German Fountain. Next, you will visit the Blue Mosque, famous for its more than 20,000 hand-painted ceramic tiles imported from Iznik. From there, enjoy a panoramic view of Hagia Sophia, an architectural marvel built in 537 that has served as a church, mosque, and museum, featuring its enormous dome—one of the largest in the world. The excursion continues at the majestic Topkapi Palace, home of the Ottoman sultans for over 400 years, where you will explore the beautiful gardens, kitchens, and royal treasury rooms, and discover the enigmatic Harem, known for its luxurious décor. Afterward, you will visit Aya Irini, a Byzantine church that was never converted into a mosque, and the tour concludes at the Grand Bazaar, one of the largest and oldest covered markets in the world, where bargaining is a cherished tradition. At the end of the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel for overnight stay.

DAY 4 • ISTANBUL – ANKARA – CAPPADOCIA

Departure to Ankara. In the capital of Turkey, you will enjoy a panoramic tour that includes the impressive Atatürk Mausoleum, dedicated to the founder of the Republic. On the way to Cappadocia, you will make a stop at the Salt Lake, a spectacular spot perfect for photography. You will also visit a Caravanserai, an ancient inn from the Silk Road era, where you can learn more about the history of this important trade route. Upon arrival in Cappadocia, you will enjoy dinner at the hotel followed by overnight accommodation.

DAY 5 • CAPPADOCIA

Discover this marvelous region with its unique landscape formed by volcanic lava over 3 million years ago. We’ll begin by visiting the Göreme Open-Air Museum, a monastery with chapels carved into the rock and decorated with 13th-century frescoes. Then, we’ll explore the stunning valleys with “otherworldly” landscapes and admire the famous “Fairy Chimneys.” There will be a stop to enjoy panoramic views of the spectacular volcanic rock valleys. Next, we’ll visit an underground city, built by ancient local communities as a refuge from attacks throughout history. At the end of the tour, we’ll visit a carpet center to learn about traditional craftsmanship and a gemstone center featuring exclusive regional designs. Return to the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.

  • The hotels mentioned are for reference only and are the most commonly used in this type of tour. However, when guaranteeing services, it is important to consider that the confirmed hotels may differ but will be of equal category.
  • Triple rooms: In addition to the double bed, an extra bed (rollaway) will be provided, subject to availability at the hotel at the time of booking.
  • Services such as cribs or bed types (Twin, King, Queen): Subject to availability at the hotel at the time of booking.
  • Platinum and Gold categories include 4-star hotels, but the difference lies in the location of the hotels in Istanbul. Platinum hotels are located on the outskirts, ideal for those seeking a quieter stay. Gold hotels are in central areas, providing easier access to major tourist attractions and shopping areas. If you wish to choose a 5-star hotel, consult your travel advisor.

ITINERARY

  • If arrivals or departures differ from those scheduled in the tour, or if additional nights are required, transfers are not included in the package and can be arranged at an additional cost.
  • Rates apply to IST airport; transfers from SAW airport have a surcharge.
  • The itinerary is subject to change due to weather conditions, road conditions, operational issues, availability, or unforeseen events at the time of booking.

CHILD POLICY

  • Infants (under 2 years): Only pay airline taxes. The exact amount will be confirmed at ticket issuance. However, if the infant requires a special seat or any other equipment for the vehicle, inform us at the time of booking so we can accommodate these needs.
  • Children (2–11 years): Children in this age group pay the child rate.
  • Children (12 years and older): Children in this age group pay the adult rate.
  • Room occupancy: The maximum number of children per room sharing with parents is subject to each hotel’s policies.
  • Documentation: All minors must be accompanied by one of their parents or guardians. At check-in, they must present an ID, valid passport, or birth certificate.
