Upon your arrival in the city of Cusco, you will be greeted and transferred to the hotel. In the afternoon, we will begin a tour of the city, starting with a stop at the Plaza de San Cristóbal, where we can enjoy a stunning panoramic view of Cusco. Next, we will head to the San Pedro Market, a vibrant commercial center that will allow us to immerse ourselves in the local culture and discover a wide variety of typical products that supply the entire city. The visit will continue with the Qorikancha Temple, an architectural gem that will amaze us with its grandeur and the history of its walls once covered in gold. From there, we will walk to the picturesque San Blas neighborhood, known for being home to local artisans. Descending along Hatun Rumiyoc street, we will come across the Inca Roca Palace, now known as the Archbishop's Palace. We will have the opportunity to admire the famous Stone of Twelve Angles, a landmark of Inca engineering. The tour will conclude at the Plaza de Armas, where we will visit the majestic Cathedral, which houses valuable colonial works.

In the morning, we will explore Sacsayhuamán, an impressive citadel with massive structures, surrounded by natural landscapes that blend perfectly with the environment. Then, we will head to Q’enqo, an Inca ceremonial site featuring an altar embedded in a rock formation, used in ancient sacrifice rituals. Later, we will visit the fortress of Puca Pucará and Tambomachay, an architectural complex of great importance, considered one of the pillars of Andean cosmology. The afternoon will be free to enjoy the city and the streets of Cusco.

Today, we will explore the most iconic places in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Our journey will begin in Chinchero, a charming town known for its beautiful textile traditions. There, we will make a brief stop at a weaving center to observe the ancient Inca techniques of dyeing and spinning with alpaca wool. We will also visit the Inca plaza and the charming colonial church. Next, we will head to Moray, an impressive archaeological site featuring concentric agricultural terraces used by the Incas to experiment with different microclimates. After lunch, we will continue to Ollantaytambo, known as the last living Inca town. In this place, we will explore the Temple of the Ten Windows, the Baths of Ñusta, and the Temple of the Sun. To conclude, we will enjoy panoramic views from the heights of Ollantaytambo, ending this day full of history and beauty in the Sacred Valley. Accommodation.

At the scheduled time, departure to explore one of the 7 Wonders of the World. Board the train at Ollantaytambo station and depart. Upon arrival at the Machu Picchu station, our staff will assist you in boarding the bus that will take you up a winding road, offering stunning views of the Urubamba River and the deep canyon surrounding it. Once you arrive, the Lost City of the Incas, Machu Picchu, will amaze you with its impressive terraces, stairways, ceremonial areas, and urban zones. The unique energy of this place will be felt in every corner. After a delicious lunch, return by train at the scheduled time and transfer to your hotel in Cusco. Accommodation.

  • For luggage transport on the Machu Picchu route: 1 small bag or backpack, 5 kg / 11 lbs, 62 linear inches / 157 cm (height + length + width).
  • The Machu Picchu excursion has been quoted with the EXPEDITION train service and lunch at a local restaurant (drinks not included).
  • Machu Picchu tickets are non-transferable, non-refundable, and changes are not allowed. In case of cancellation, the penalty is 100%.
