At the scheduled time, transfer to Jorge Chávez International Airport in Lima for your flight to Cusco. Upon arrival, you will receive assistance and be transferred to your hotel. You will have free time to acclimate to the altitude and have lunch on your own. At the agreed time, we will begin our tour with a visit to the Sacsayhuamán Archaeological Park. We will explore the majestic fortress of Sacsayhuamán, a place of peace and tranquility where you can admire massive stones up to 4 meters high, used in its construction. Next, we will continue to Q'enqo, an ancient Puma temple with an altar for sacrifices inside a large rock. We will then visit Tambomachay, known for its sacred fountains, which were considered symbols of life and health. Along the way, we will enjoy a panoramic view of Puca Pucará, an ancient watchtower that guarded the entrance to the city. Our tour will continue with a visit to the Sun Temple, Qorikancha, upon which the Convent of Santo Domingo is built. Legend has it that this temple was entirely covered with gold plates, which astonished the conquistadors upon their arrival. Finally, we will explore Cusco's Plaza de Armas and visit the Cathedral, which houses priceless colonial artworks and paintings, including the Cross brought by the first conquistadors. Return to the hotel for your overnight stay.
DAY 3 • CUSCO - SACRED VALLEY
The Sacred Valley of the Incas welcomes us today. Our first stop will be the Inca town of Pisac, one of the most beautiful archaeological sites in the Sacred Valley. From the top of the mountain, we overlook the colonial town of Pisac. We will take a walking tour of the colonial town and have time to shop at artisan workshops. Next, we will head to the Inkariy Museum to explore the various rooms showcasing representations of pre-Hispanic cultures of ancient Peru. Lunch. We will visit the Yucay Living Culture Center, a tourist complex where local residents will show us their techniques for weaving and dyeing traditional textiles, making adobe bricks, preparing traditional chicha, a corn beverage, and offer a close encounter with Andean camelids: llamas and alpacas. Accommodation.
DAY 4 • SACRED VALLEY - AGUAS CALIENTES
Today, we will continue our journey from the Sacred Valley to Aguas Calientes, the gateway to Machu Picchu. Our day begins with a visit to the remarkable Inca terraces of Moray, an ancient agricultural laboratory designed to recreate various microclimates for efficient crop production across the empire. We will then head to the charming village of Maras, famous for its historical salt mines. These ancient mines, in use since time immemorial, present a striking contrast between the white salt pools and the surrounding reddish earth, providing a perfect opportunity for stunning photographs. After lunch, we will proceed to Ollantaytambo, known as the last living Inca town. We will explore its streets and squares and visit the terraces and archaeological site that dominate the town. We will admire the Inca stonework techniques, especially at the partially constructed Temple of the Sun. In the afternoon, we will board the train at the Ollantaytambo station, heading to Aguas Calientes. This village lies at the base of the majestic Machu Picchu mountain. Upon arrival, check-in to your accommodation and enjoy your evening in this picturesque village.

Once there, you will be welcomed by the majestic Lost City of the Incas, Machu Picchu, where you can admire its impressive terraces, stairways, ceremonial enclosures, and urban areas. It is a unique place where the energy can be felt in every corner. Afterwards, you will enjoy lunch. Later, return to the station to take the train back to Ollantaytambo. From there, the stunning geological formations of Vinicunca will contrast with the blue sky, offering a spectacular panorama highlighted by the natural barriers between the coastal desert and the Amazon jungle, dominated by the majestic Ausangate snow-capped peak.
