We will then visit Tambomachay, known for its sacred fountains, which were considered symbols of life and health. Along the way, we will enjoy a panoramic view of Puca Pucará, an ancient watchtower that guarded the entrance to the city. Our tour will continue with a visit to the Sun Temple, Qorikancha, upon which the Convent of Santo Domingo is built. These ancient mines, in use since time immemorial, present a striking contrast between the white salt pools and the surrounding reddish earth, providing a perfect opportunity for stunning photographs.
