At the scheduled time, transfer to the airport to board the flight to Cusco. Upon arrival, reception and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, we will begin the excursion by ascending to the Sacsayhuamán Archaeological Park, where we will admire its impressive fortress built with massive stone blocks. We will continue to Q’enqo, an ancient ceremonial temple with an altar carved into the rock, and then to Tambomachay, known for its sacred water fountains. Along the way, we’ll enjoy a panoramic view of Puca Pucará. Next, we will visit the Temple of the Sun, or Qorikancha, upon which the Convent of Santo Domingo was built. Finally, we’ll tour the Main Square and enter the Cathedral, which houses valuable works of colonial art. Accommodation.

Today, we will explore the main attractions of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. We’ll begin in Chinchero, one of the most traditional and picturesque towns, known for its skilled weavers. We'll make a brief stop at a textile center to learn about ancient Inca techniques for dyeing and spinning alpaca wool. Then, we’ll visit the Inca square and its beautiful colonial church. Next, we’ll head to Moray, an impressive complex of concentric agricultural terraces used as an agricultural laboratory. After lunch, we’ll continue to Ollantaytambo, the last living Inca town. We’ll explore the Temple of the Ten Niches, the Ñusta’s Baths, and the imposing Temple of the Sun. The panoramic views from the top will be the perfect way to end this day filled with history. Overnight stay in the area.

DAY 4 • MACHU PICCHU

The long-awaited day to visit one of the 7 Wonders of the World begins with boarding the selected train at Ollantaytambo station, which will take us to Machu Picchu. Upon arrival, our staff will assist with boarding the bus that climbs a winding road offering spectacular views of the Urubamba River and its deep canyon. Machu Picchu, the Lost City of the Incas, will amaze us with its terraces, stairways, and ceremonial enclosures, all filled with a unique energy. After lunch, we will return by train and be transferred to the hotel in Cusco for accommodation.

DAY 5 • VINICUNCA

We will embark on an exciting adventure to Rainbow Mountain, Vinicunca. Very early in the morning, we will depart by van through the Southern Valley to Cusipata, then ascend a dirt road up to 4,800 meters (15,750 feet). We will begin a 4 km (2.5 miles) hike while enjoying distant views of the snow-capped Ausangate mountain range. Our guide will accompany us and teach us how to walk at high altitude. Gradually, the impressive colorful mountain will come into view until we reach the viewpoint at 5,000 meters (16,400 feet) above sea level, where its geological formations will show their full splendor. After some free time for photos, we will descend along the same trail, return to Cusipata for lunch, and then head back to Cusco. Accommodation.

DAY 6 • SINGRENACOCHA LAKE

In the morning, we will depart from Cusco to visit Singrenacocha Lake, one of the most enigmatic and least explored natural treasures of the Peruvian highlands. Along the way, we will make a stop at the Cuyuni viewpoint, where we will enjoy an impressive view of Ausangate.

Afterward, we will arrive at the community of Yanamarca, the starting point of our hike. During the trek, we will pass through a small stone forest, an ideal spot to photograph the local flora and fauna, including alpacas, Andean geese, and vizcachas. Finally, we will reach the base of the lake (4,381 m / 14,373 ft above sea level), with Colque Cruz towering in the background. Here, we will have time to admire its beauty, take photos, and enjoy the surroundings. After lunch, we will begin our return to Cusco.
